Vacation Learning: Summer road trip 2017B (returning from the south) #13

We visited the Nature Center at the Lincoln State Park.  A wonderful volunteer guided a corn's husk doll making activity.  He told the kids a Native American story about corn dolls, and showed them ways to make not only dolls, but also "ninjas." My two kids were thrilled.
On our way out, we walked in the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Plaza. It has several pedestals and markers depicting Lincoln's life in Indiana.  Finally, we headed back to the Lincoln Boyhood Memorial to answer a few more questions, and take the oath as Junior Rangers.
