Vacation Learning: Costa Rica #5

From the city we moved to a farm in Platanar. It is a very rustic little town. We found our villa on VRBO and although the place itself was beautiful, the owner was not to be recommended. We tried to make the most out of our stay, but basically we did an adventure one day, and rest the next.

The villa had a small pool for the kids to enjoy. Big Sister and Little Guy were walking to our villa from the pool with the farm's dog.

The kids eating a meal on our porch.

Big Sister relaxing on the hammock.

The main reason for us to visit the farm was to be able to be by the horses.  We visited them every day during our stay.

Little Guy picking oranges.

Both kids working on their journals.  Yes! we travel with the journals. They write during the days we don't have much planned.

Inside the room, we set up a coloring area for the times when the mosquitoes were bad.

The view from our porch. We were able to look at mountains and two Percheron horses.
