The little guy and the letter a: Today we talked about food that starts with a: arepitas (corn cake) that he had for breakfast; Arroz (rice) which he had left overs from the night before, almendras (almonds) which he ate while making the letter a, and Azucar (sugar) which he tasted in the learning room. He was very happy with his almonds! He cut the food printouts and glued them to his notebook.
A picture with our visitors for the day. Everyone working ages: 5, 4, 3, and 1.5!
Our friend used the brown stairs and pink tower. I hope my kids will be inspired to use them soon. They have totally forgotten about them.
My little one using the insets.
Putting the pieces away together. So cute!
Even the 1.5 year old was busy at work cutting paper.
The big sister work on her new set of high frequency words, listening to a book on CD, and her journal.
I am excited to share with everyone that both my kids can count to 20! It took a lot of practicing since they got confused with 13, 14, and 15. We have been using the calendar and it help a lot. We used it to count every day.
